Earth Day 2018

On this Earth Day I’m setting the goal to be alive to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day in 2020! Of course, we never know when our time is up, but the way I roll, I want God to be sure to know this woman wants. I am feeling tremendously blessed to be alive, in my current state of health. I accept that I am not in the healthiest state I could be and my responsibility in taking appropriate actions to change that. Please note that if you should be dropping by barbt.com today or tomorrow I am concentrating on changing it up to reflect my goals in being around to celebrate the 2020 Earth Day festivities with joyful exuberance. Thanks for checking in on me. 🙂

Quote For Today ~ When Butterflies Leave

Happy New Year 2015! This morning I awakened to the vision of butterflies fluttering above my head. It was so powerful I was inspired to create. Did you know 2015 is the Year of the Sheep? Astrologers forecast it as a year for healing and creativity, one in which we build and place our most value on relationships. I foresee my year being filled with more visions of butterflies and building strong relationships with those who are drawn to them. Yes, there is much to look forward to in this new year. May yours be filled with joy and prosperity!

When butterflies leave their silk palaces The scent of the garden blows towards Heaven's way. Like the toils of man, Those who work to tomorrow Will not miss the dreams of yesterday. Artist: Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam) Song: When Butterflies Leave Album: An Other Cup

As I worked on creating this quote image, I could hear Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam) singing a song from the 70s that included the words, “butterfly fly away, fly away, fly away”. I couldn’t remember the name of the song so I turned to Google where I learned Miley Cyrus and Mariah Carey had both included the words in songs they turned into hits. While I couldn’t find the Cat Stevens song I was hearing in my head, I did find these meaningful words from another song he had released and just had to share them.
