Facebook Notifications

2026-04-12 ~ For the first time, my Facebook notifications had dropped to zero (0) from yesterday evening!

At first glance, that number felt louder than any notification bell ever could. It is easy to let a moment like that whisper the wrong story, especially in a digital world that measures connection in clicks, comments, and counts.

But here is the truth I am choosing to stand in today: zero notifications does not mean zero impact.

It simply means a quiet moment.

And quiet moments are where reflection lives. They are where we step back and remember that what we build, what we share, and who we connect with go far beyond a single morning’s metrics.

I have spent decades building relationships, communities, and conversations that matter. Those do not disappear overnight. They do not depend on an algorithm having a good day. They live in real people, real memories, and real value created over time.

Today, I am choosing to see this as a reset. A clean slate. An open runway.

A day to create, to share, and to lead without waiting for a notification to validate it.

Because the truth is simple: I do not show up for notifications. I show up for people.

And people are still here.

So, onward with purpose, perspective, and just a little more gratitude for the quiet.

Let’s make today count!
