Barbara has been dabbling in a variety of art media since childhood. She is best known in the art world for her Cloisonné on Glass artwork sold in galleries and finer gift shops of the Pacific Northwest and Canada throughout the 1970s and early 1980s. Although she has kept in touch with her artistic roots throughout her life, she only recently renewed her interest in focusing on artwork as a profession. Her current interests include digital art media, including painting, drawing, photography, machinima, and rendering art through the assistance of artificial intelligence apps and 3D printing technology.
Of special note, in 2005 she was encouraged by ballooning memorabilia collector Jacques Soukop and other members of the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum Foundation to produce vintage art adaptations for them to sell in their new Balloon Museum Gift Shoppe located at the front of the Balloon Museum. As a result, she created an entire line of adaptations that have been sold through gift shows, regional bookstores, and aviation-oriented gift shops across America.
