I love to sing! Since 2001 I have focused on singing jazz standards and a few pop songs from the ’70s and ’80s. Before then, my favorite genre to sing was country. I started singing country music with my father when I was just a toddler. Like Barbara Mandrell, I sang country before it was “cool”. In 2001 I was honored to be dubbed the Official Diva by the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. It was during that annual event I debuted the album I recorded in Tennessee earlier that year.
In this section, I’ve archived YouTube videos of songs by some of my favorite artists for inspiration and reference in honing my own singing and performance skills. My goal is to get my own recordings of these songs online soon. Meanwhile, enjoy these sounds by some of the most amazing divas I’ve discovered during my lifetime.
