While Fiesta officials encouraged the pilots to tether their balloons in a static display, it wouldn’t be something I would want them to do under such wind conditions. As far as I’m concerned they should have called the event change official tailgate time!
I’ve already begun my countdown to next year’s event, mainly because I know will be attending in support of more than one worthwhile cause and crewing for one of the top female balloon pilots in the world! I plan to make the 2015 Balloon Fiesta my best New Mexico special event experience ever!]]>
