I received an invitation to join Nextdoor from my husband in the Summer of 2019; however, I had only logged in sporadically until August 2021. On this day, August 27, I concluded that Nextdoor was gaining enough traction that it would be worthwhile to spend some time following and engaging in daily conversation. I have a hunch, moving foward in post-COVID times, there will be far more localized online community development opportunities.
