I am a passionate lifelong learner, a student of both traditional academia (UCSB, UCLA) and two of the most popular massive open online course platforms (Udemy, Masterclass).

Since 2014, I have enrolled in over 600 courses on the Udemy platform. I have also helped several Udemy instructors manage their student support communities through their Facebook groups. Since early 2019 I have been the community manager for TJ Walker’s Online Student Support Community group on Facebook. When I stepped in as Community Manager, there were less than 2,000  in the group. Today there are almost 19,000 students in the group. TJ is one of the top 10 Udemy instructors, with over 1.3 million students, and I have personally enrolled in over 200 of his courses.  Because Udemy students have lifetime access to courses, and some instructors, such as TJ, choose to update them regularly, course completion status is often rolled back.
