Music

Sunday, October 26, 2014 ~ This morning I woke up reflecting on the events over these past couple weeks and a song came to mind ~ Witchy Woman, an award-winning tune written by Don Henley and Bernie Leadon. In my search for the lyrics I came across this amazing YouTube video production that has attracted over 2 million views so far. With Halloween less than a week away, I decided to start a Witch Women board on Pinterest to capture items I’ve found or own for use in celebrating Halloween and gal pal events. This video is bound to draw a lot of attention again this year. The producer has done an excellent job. Enjoy!

BTW, if you are a fan of Eagles music, you can watch the History of The Eagles Tour on Netflix and learn all about the band’s latest performances on their official website.

I love to sing but haven’t been singing regularly for a long time. Since last month was National Karaoke Month, I decided to check out the latest developments in the world of karaoke online. Years ago I sang online at Ksolo.com. When Myspace took that over in 2008, I had other pressing priorities so I dropped singing online. The karaoke article published on Mashable in 2008 rated SingSnap low but the entire karaoke scene has changed since then. So far, I’m impressed with the latest edition of SingSnap. Here’s a recording I made of “Georgia” a song I sang on SingSnap, Sunday afternoon, May 4, 2014:
