Travel video featuring music by one of my Oregon gal friends and country singer-songwriter Lindy Gravelle. I first met Lindy in the winter of 2008 during my her performance at Brassie’s Bar in Eagle Crest Resort. She is not just a singer/songwriter but a magical performer, constantly engaging the audience throughout her sets. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Central Oregon be sure to check her website calendar to see if you might be able to catch one of her performances.
Woke up this morning with a tune in my head, Love Is In The Air by John Paul Young. Sure enough, there were several versions to watch on YouTube. This one turned out to be my favorite.
Did you know John Paul Young became an Australian immigrant at the age of 11? he’s been singing most of his life and still performing. His first major hit, Pasadena, was released in 1972. On August 29, 2009 he was inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame. YouFor more about John Paul Young, visit his Wikipedia page.
As a result of searching for Love Is In The Air, I found a great list of love songs from the 70s. Do you remember any of these songs from the 70s?
